Setting an ambitious target – NetZero Carbon is doable and how is Australia tracking?

Rob Kelly is Program Manager at ClimateWorks Australia, leading the Pathways and Investment program. This work aims to support better decision making regarding long-term decarbonisation policy and strategy for businesses, governments and investors.

Rob was a co-author and senior analyst for ClimateWorks’ ‘Pathways to Deep Decarbonisation in 2050’ report which was the first comprehensive technical and economic assessment of the potential for Australia to reach net-zero emissions while maintaining strong economic growth and led the Natural Resources and Energy stream of CSIRO’s second Australian National Outlook report. He has since led a number of projects to develop decarbonisation strategies at the national, state and company level. Rob also lectures on Climate Change and Business Management Strategies at Monash University
