Jon Dee is an award-winning social entrepreneur, broadcaster and campaigner.

In addition to starting the Planet Ark, Rock Aid Armenia and DoSomething charities, Jon is the Australian Coordinator of the RE100 renewable energy initiative which involves many of Australia’s biggest companies.

Every week on ABC Radio, Jon appears on ‘The Good News With Jon Dee’. It’s a national radio segment where Jon talks about the latest good news on sustainability and environmental issues. It’s broadcast live on all 53 ABC Radio stations around Australia.

On Sky News Business channel, Jon wrote and presented 115 episodes of ‘Smart Money’ – a live TV program where he showed how sustainability, efficiency and renewable energy can improve the business bottom line.

His sustainability guidebooks ‘Sustainable Growth’ and ‘EnergyCut’ have shifted over 130,000 copies. Since 2010 he has given over 350 sustainability related speeches around Australia.

In 2010, Jon was the Australian of the Year in NSW. In 2009 the President of Armenia awarded Jon Armenia’s highest medal, ’The Order of Honor’ for his long term work in the Armenian earthquake zone, where he built a music school that has taught music to thousands of children.
